Teacher Professional Program (PPG) Class of 2022

PPG Pre-Service is an educational program that is held after an applied undergraduate or graduate program for graduates Bachelors of chemical education or chemical to obtain an Educator Certificate in the field of Chemistry Education.
The current PPG Pre-Service is as follows:

1.Pre-service PPG participants are determined based on the needs of the teacher.
2. Pre-service PPG graduates have the certainty of being recruited to become teachers
3.Beginner teacher induction integrated with PPG Pre-service
The PPG Pre-service curriculum structure consists of: (a) core courses; (b) selective elective courses and elective elective courses with a total of 39 credits.
4.The implementation of field experience practices, which are part of the learning process, is carried out since the beginning of the semester and is related to the courses taken in the current semester.
5.Involvement of driving teachers and education practitioners in the process of implementing Pre-service PPG

Intership

Orientation

Prior to conducting observations, students took part in orientation activities which were intended to introduce PPG students to various things related to the school, including the educational management prevailing at the school, school culture as well as various extra-curricular activities and other non-academic activities implemented at the partner schools in the location. Orientation activities are carried out on the first day of Intership (PPL) I at the school and the PPL orientation is given by the Principal or Person in Charge of Pre-service PPG PPL at the school.

Observation

Guided Learning Practices

In the practice of guided learning PPG students practice teaching under the intensive guidance of supervising teachers and/or supervising lecturers. Each student carries out at least three cycles of guided learning practices using the Lesson Study format, through the Plan cycle (designing learning), Do/See (carrying out learning & observation), and Reflection & Follow Up
